Anita Asante was born and raised in Croydon with a Ghanaian heritage.  Anita’s educational experience involved studying Psychology with Sociology at Portsmouth University. After her degree, Anita worked as a supply teacher and a learning support assistant in several education establishments. Anita really enjoyed these valuable roles and decided to do her teacher training course at Canterbury Christ University in 2013.  She then became a qualified teacher in 2014. During the death of George Floyd, Anita thought of a business idea to help young people understand the importance of diversity and inclusion and how it can be embedded further in the school environment.  After having discussions with the wider community Destiny experiences was introduced.
